Technically, I should file my mention of this site exclusively under Web Watch, but it's so intriguing it merits a separate post and maybe even a whole new category. Drawing upon vintage Victory Garden (VG) posters, artist Joe Wirtheim has been developing some simply wonderful graphics since 2005...wouldn't it be splendid to seem them attain national and international exposure in lock step with the VG revival?
Here's his online poster show and here's how you can own (and wear!) some of Wirtheim's fabulous artwork. Remember, too, that these marvelous images are copyrighted. (Just sayin' because most of the original VG posters are in the public domain. Wirtheim's are not.)
