With the holiday weekend upon us, I thought it would be fun to showcase some garden pics from my (and my mom's) friend I.H.'s Northeast Texas raised bed. This is I.'s first veggie garden effort ever, and she's understandably proud of a good start.
First, there's a pic of I.'s cat, Rudy, checking out the newly planted bed. Next is a more recent photograph showing real progress all 'round. And, finally, here's a picture of I.'s very first tomato.
One of the things that I love about this particular veg bed is that it's located at I.'s business...not situated at home. It's an interesting solution, especially for busy small biz owners, to have access to a garden. Plus, it must make for a great conversation starter with customers. Something to ponder...
