Share Your Victory Garden Memories

With Memorial Day on the horizon and growing season in full swing, could there be a better time for us to work collaboratively to preserve/promote/REVIVE our patriotic gardening legacy? Maybe your family participated in the Victory Garden (aka "war garden") movements of the early 20th century in US, Canada or the U.K. Or maybe your family declared its traditional kitchen plot a VG in honor of the long-running PBS series. Whatever the case, please share with the world your family's story! Who knows? You might inspire someone to plant a plot (or pot) today to address the rising food, fuel and climate crises. And all nationalities are welcome!

Your options include submitting a few paragraphs in the Comments section below...or you can use your own blog or YouTube video (just send a ping here or post your link(s) in Comments). (Note that all Comments are subject to review before they will be posted. And, YES, you can opt to remain anonymous...or use your initials.
