• Per the Herald-Ledger, Clark County (Kentucky) Public Library is hosting a pro-VG dinner Thursday night. The event includes an overview of the WWI & II-era gardens, a demonstration on how they are applicable today and a dinner. What a great idea.
• Nifty video ("Economy Turns People to Victory Gardens," 17 June 2008) from KY3 in Springfield, Mo. They did a terrific job of covering the story from several angles.
• "'I'm Planting Food'--Made Easy" (Foodshed Planet (blog), 17 June 2008) - Great idea for a basic raised bed. Once again, Pattie delivers a winning notion.
