Found this link to a gorgeous Flickr slideshow by a photographer who uses the name Beatlequeen on Flickr. The man with the cowboy hat is John Bela, who designed the popular San Francisco Museum of Art installation curated by Amy Franceschini that led to that city's Victory Garden revival.
