Susan Albert explains the origins of a worthwhile phrase taking root in the blogosphere: the Theory of Anyway. Check it out right away.
Funny, but a few weeks back, my husband and I chatted about fuel, food and water conservation and how we would want to do those things "anyway"...even if there were no looming crisis...er, crises...because it's just responsible and sensible to do so. We recycle (even though we don't have recycling services), we drive fuel efficient vehicles, we are moving to stronger reliance on our region for all kinds of goods (not just food!), etc. And we aren't alone.
Yup, this "theory" seems to articulate what a lot of people increasingly believe.
